PHYSICAL THERAPY & ACTIVE RELIEF

Healing Touch

My Philosophy

“Having a good bedside manner as a physical therapist is very important to a patient’s healing process.  Patients should feel comfortable, confident, and understand that their physical therapist cares about how they feel and the outcome of their physical therapy program. This promotes a healthy patient/therapist relationship.  Patients should leave the office after each visit confident they are in the right place to get the care they need.”

 Active Release Techniques

Active Release Techniques (ART) is a hands-on manual therapy technique that combines soft tissue manipulation with functional movement to improve the mechanical function of tissues including muscle, ligament, tendon, nerve, connective tissue, and fascia.

Physical therapists are movement experts and help people who are in pain or having difficulty moving.

All men are created equal.
All
PHYSICAL THERAPISTS are not.

"I suffered a back injury and was stuck in bed, unable to move without serious pain. Heather got me in right away and with A.R.T. I had immediate relief. My pain went from a 10 to a 4 in the first session. She is A-MAZING!"

- Amy D., Forest, VA
